Say hello to the folks at the Redington Surf Resort, Redington AmbassadorTimeshare Resort, Doubletree Beach Resort by Hilton and the RamSea Rental Condominium Resort on NorthRedington Beach, great beach resorts where you may be staying. This is another primarily residential Gulf city with many visitors to its beautiful beach that lies just north of the famous Redington Long Pier. If you want to try some salt water fishing without committing to a fishing charter, the Pier has everything you need. N. Redington Beach was the site of the once famous Tides Hotel and Bath Club. The Tides was opened in 1936 and hosted many famous members and guests including Alfred Hitchcock, Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe. It operated until 1995 when it was sold and razed to make room for a 200 condominium complex called The Tides Beach Club.
A nice selection of retail shops and restaurants, plus the Long Pier, make Redington Shores and North Redington Beach destinations of their own. Recommended restaurants in this beach town include Conch Republic Grill for a Key West menu, Sweet Sage Café, and Frog Pond for eggs benedict like no other, plus much more. All can be found along Gulf Boulevard connecting you easily with all of the Gulf Beaches.
